Cot Floor Mounting System
|
| |
The Tactical PT750 uses a patented cot floor mounting system. The Tactical PT750 floor mounting system has met the requirements of AMD 004, "Litter Retention System". The PT750 floor mounting system is designed to be a drop-in replacement for other commonly used "floor" mounting systems consisting of a set of antlers and a side-lock. There should be no problem using the Tactical PT750 floor mounting system in your ambulance as long as, the system used is "floor" mounted including the side-lock assembly. The PT750 cannot be used in a wall-mounted locking assembly without customized installation. The PT750, like all other manufacturer's cots, is not and should not be used with any other litter retention system because the PT750 is tested only for its unique litter retention system and no others. Using the PT750 or, any cot in an un-approved litter retention system will cause failure of the retention system resulting in injury. Tactical Inc, does not approve the use of the PT750 with any other litter retention system and strictly forbids such usage for safety reasons. The end-user is responsible for installation of and ensuring that the PT750 floor mounting system is maintained and in proper working order. Floor mount installation is relatively simple and the PT750 will simply be bolted into place onto the ambulance floor once the end-user removes the antler and floor mounted side-lock assemblies.
